I am so grateful and blessed to be raising 3 precious children. It's NOT always easy (eh, who am I kidding? it's never easy!), but I love how I can cry out to Him, turn to Scripture and there's an answer. He gives me hope, peace, forgiveness, mercy and grace, and we keep going, day after day. :)

Motherhood means so much more to me each day! Every day I see my little ones more as blessings and less as burdens. I always tell them that God made them special just for me, but as I left their room, they said, Mommy, God made you special just for us. What great moment! I went from a woman who didn't want to have children or stay at home. Now I have 4 children, stay at home and homeschool. I am glad God did what He knew was best for me!

Wow! What an amazing give away with some very inspiring and encouraging things! I have a 7, 5 1/2, 3 and 2 year old and a newborn. I am humbled that God called me into His Kingdom and put it in my heart to stay home with my children and home school. I did not grow up in a Christian home with a stay at home mom and even though it isn't easy, there is no great calling. Being a mom is what defines me.

I LOVE being a mom to our 5 children ages 4 - 11. This year has been rather hard tho, just before Christmas last year my husband went into rehab for alcohol and gambling, leaving us with no money, thousands of dollars in bills, and the threat of eviction. He will be gone for a year, we had to move after he left, but God has shown Himself strong and worked so many miracles for us, and taken care of us in every way, and we thank him daily!!! It has been really hard on our oldest son, but we are on a countdown now, my husband will be home a week before Christmas, and he is a new man!! We are so happy!!! PTL!!!!

with this many entries it is probably pointless...I have three beautiful children. Two with ADHD (one also has OCD). So my daily struggles now are different than with our oldest child. It is hard some times to keep a tender heart, joyful spirit, and to be a Godly woman. I pray hard each night that God would give me strength for this journey.

I don't do facebook so I can't get another entry that way. I visited Great Impressions and found some great deals that I can afford after all! Thanks!

I am continually amazed when other woman/mothers are surprised by how well I know my children and their little quirks. It's as if their children are strangers to them. I think my relationship with my children is what should be the norm, not something that seems exceptional to others.

    Vindiciti said...

I love my children and feel blessed to have them, but having two with autism is such a challenge to be a good mother, let alone a good Christian mother. If only God didn't trust me so much...

    Jenn said...

It is a complete blessing and privilege that God has trusted me to be a mother to my six children. It is an area in life that I feel a partnership in creation and a calling that has helped me understand many spiritual truths. Motherhood is such a beautiful and fearful thing when thinking about the impact your decisions daily make.

After college, my husband and I moved to a new state. Our church doesn't offer a Titus 2 ministry like our previous church did, in which I had a mentor. (I also volunteered as a mentor for a precious 4th grader without a mother figure in her life.) It was such a blessing to have a Titus 2 modeled mentor to this newlywed. You are right, how wonderful it would be to have one now that I am a mother. Thank you for your ebook.
