I wish I had of know when my children were small that I was not alone-that there were other moms having the same struggles as I was.
The Lord blessed me with two children born from my body when I couldn't have anymore children we decided to adopt another child (one) the Lord had other plans for us He had three little girls who needed a forever family. We laugh and tell people to be careful what they pray for sometimes God tribles their prayers. What a blessing they are!

After 3.5 years of very stressful, painful infertility, we were blessed this March with a beautiful baby girl! She is truly a miracle. We were told that children wouldn't be in our future by the fertility clinic and found out on my husband's birthday last year that she was coming!
Something about motherhood: it really is as amazing and goes as fast as everyone says it does. How on earth did my newborn turn into a 6 month old?!?

Not having a godly mother, finding Titus 2 women are so important to me. Yet I agree, they are hard to find. I find having lots of little ones hard to manage with my time. How do you keep a clean home, wipe noses, change diapers, cook healthy meals, homeschool and sew all in 24hrs?

Being a mom has definitely made ME grow in patience and humbled me!
The hardest thing I find about being a mother, is not being able to accurately portray what a blessed life it is. I wouldn't trade one moment of motherhood for any other "grand adventures"!

Something about motherhood. I've never been happier, or been faced with so many challenges since I became a mom. Creative thinking is definitely a necessity isn't it?! (Liked and joined the 3 listed facebook groups)
I think if I had to narrow down just one thing of what I love best about being a mother, it would be the little moments. Drooly, open-mouth kisses from babies, sticky toddler hair, mischevious twinkles in a preschooler's eyes, watching them grow into the men and women God made them to be... those are the awesome things about being a mother.
Motherhood is never easy..but with God it is possible!

Though I would never choose to do anything different than a stay home mother, there are days when it is so difficult. I have three children under 6. WE are committed to homeschooling, which makes for interesting days. The hardest part is training the youngest . . . many a tear has been shed because she is constantly getting into things.
I visited Doorposts . . . hoping to order some of their products.
I visited www.truechristianmotherhood.com
and I wanted to share that I am a single mom of an eleven year old boy. I am learning to enjoy motherhood, realizing that he is not going to be young forever. Raising him alone, many days were a struggle just to get through. Blessed by knowing God's grace is new every morning!! Fully realizing God's love for me has made it so much easier to lavish love on my son.

I am expecting our fifth child and it is interesting, and a bummer at the same time how many of the mothers in our same stage of life have distanced themselves from us since hearing we will soon have 5. Yet at the same time we have been blessed by some older ladies who raised one or two children, during a quiet moment, in hushed tones saying congrats. This is so encouraging because in the past these very older ladies had been very vocal against larger families and promoting a pragmatic approach to things laced with Scripture to make it sound wise. Thank you for this giveaway, and for your encouraging blog.
One last post, thanks for the fun giveaway!!!

I love being a mom. I have wanted to be a mom since I was a toddler. I never realized it would be so hard. :) The hardest part for me *today* is staying awake. I've been up all night with a 3 year old and 1 year old who kept waking each other up (and therefore kept me awake too) and today they are both cranky and I need to be extra on top of things to keep them from degrading to tantrum central and I'm finding it extra hard to do that after a night of no sleep. I'm pregnant and homeschooling my almost-5 year old too so that adds to the exhaustion. So I'm hoping everyone will have a nice nap today! ;) Including me.

I find it a challenge to know how to be the mother my children need me to be because I have not had much of a relationship with my own mother. I'm thankful that God understands this...and He is patiently leading me. I love my children dearly. Motherhood is truly the highest calling for a woman!

I shared with my husband that if I knew how hard being a mother would be then I wouldn't have chosen to be one. Praise the Lord He is in control of our family and has blessed us with 5 littles to love and train. I battle selfishness daily, struggle with anger when my own agenda is usurped by another's needs. I constantly fall on my face before the Lord and ask forgiveness for my sin and the grace to love my children as He desires me to. I long to be the wife and mother the Lord desires me to be and know that He will continue working in me to make me more like Him until He returns or calls me home! I'm so thankful the Lord knows what is best for me and has seen fit to bless me with a godly husband and 5 children to treasure.

One thing about motherhood I never understood until now is how far you will go. How much the Lord will stretch you and sanctify you for your children.
Motherhood. As a child the name of Mother was only used to show my mom I was irritated. Now, as an adult, it has taken the Lord washing my mind with His word to turn that name (Mother)in a sweet name my children call me.
Right now, motherhood is a little scary for me as we wait to see if my youngest son is autistic. I love him so much and I only want the very best for him.

first of all, i praise God for you daily. i am a overwhelmed mother of 3 and some days i don't think i'll make it through, but your email awaits to give me hope. i have 3 beautiful children that i am blessed with, that come to work with me daily (i work 50 hours a week) and i am also homeschooling the older 2 (ages 3 & 4). to say the very least... i am busy! thanks for all you do and i can't wait for even more encouragement and refreshment. thank you!
I have visited the Far Above Rubies site (and entered her giveaway from Lilla Rose!)
I love the items in the giveaway. Thank you for entering me. The greatest thing I have learned since becoming a mother is learning to thank God in all things, out-loud, continually. Doing Phil. 4:4-8...
God has taught me that my job as a mother and keeper at the home are to be pleasing to Him. I'm not to worry about what others might think as long as what I am doing is pleasing to the Lord. This took a huge burden from my shoulders.

As of yesterday I am a mother to my third daughter. So blessed!
God has blessed me with 2 wonderful children (so far). I love how at the end of the day, even when I have not accomplished everything I need to and have proably lost my temper, and probably look like a mess, my babies will climb up into my lap, and snuggle. This makes my day worth it all! I am looking forward to this for guidance as I have often been the mother in tears wondering if I am the only one out there.

I am thankful for the encouragement you are providing through your book and through your blog. I seriously need it because this is one tough, yet rewarding job! Thank you!
I visited your site! One thing I've begun to see about motherhood is how vital it is to raise your children as though they belong to the Lord more than they belong to you.
I visited the website, visited door post sponsor page, liked you on Facebook. My view on motherhood is it is a blessing. It can sometimes be overwhelming. I am thankful for so many Christian resources. I wouldn't give up my role as a mother for anything :)
I LOVE being a mom!! It was the only thing I ever wanted to be when I was growing up. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with the opportunity to raise someone to serve Him. It took us 3 years to get pregnant with our blessing, and I am always so thankful to have her. God has also blessed me with 3 more that I will one day get to meet when I see my sweet Saviour!

I'm not a mom like most people who read this blog. I'm actually the oldest of 3 children. My mom has a lot of problems in her life right now. Family members having cancer and things like that. I read this blog because right now I act as a mother to my siblings because my mom often can't. I read this blog to learn patience and other virtues I need to improve on. I also get the added bonus of being more knowledgeable when I have my own children.
