I loved being a mom. Now that all my children are grown, I have opportunity to nurture my grandkids. I was bit apprehensive, not really knowing what a Christian grandparent role is, but I'm growing into it. I wish there were more books out there on grandparenting...

I feel very blessed to be given 6 wonderful kids! I am a homeschooling mom to 4 boys and 2 girls. Everyday life is a challenge to keep up on everything from homeschooling to organization to homemade meals to keeping up on the laundry! But I am so grateful for everyday I get with my little ones. They are the light of my life!

I visited TCM. I feel very blessed that God send 2 lovely daughters to me after dealing with fertility issues as a young adult. I LOVE being a stay at home mom...just being home with my children, having time to cook & clean, learn how to can, homeschooling them, playing games, going for walks...they grow up way too fast, so I am thrilled to be at home with them again (after a couple years of working full time) and am enjoying my time with my girls!

Something about motherhood: I love being a mom. I had dreamed of being a mom since I was a little girl. The Lord decided to take my 1st child to Heaven and live with Him before I even met them and I struggled. But the Lord gave me 4 wonderful children since and I would not trade it for anything. It is a struggle some days, but it is also rewarding.

Something about motherhood - I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be a mother at all, and I am thankful that God brought Christian women alongside me during this time of young motherhood to mentor me and encourage me in the right direction. Now I have sites like these to help me along the way, but it was Godly friends that helped get me started and brought me to Christ. I am also thankful to get to mentor friends slightly younger than me now, too. I really see God's wisdom in bringing women together from different stages in life to share their experiences for encouragement and growth.

Thinking about Sept. 11, 2001, I have to share that we were living in NYC at the time. It was the day my husband and I found out that we were expecting our second child. So, even though there was a lot of fear, there was a lot of hope, and I knew God had a plan for this child. Today our son is 9 years old and is joined by 4 other siblings. I try to make it my goal everyday to remember what a gift they are, and that God is using my husband and I to raise them to glorify Him.

I have been blessed with two children ages 3 & 1; my biggest challenge is with my 3 year old attitude; her sin life has gotten a lot "stronger" recently in the past 6 months. God is faithful and giving me exactly what need each day but it's defiantly tough. I reminded of the scripture of 1 Cor. 10:13.

I find it both rewarding and frustrating to raise and care for a child with special needs. He is an adult by age, a very young child mentally. He challenges me in a good way to know the story behind the child before making judgment calls. He makes me want to figure out a way to have light in the bathroom that he won't take apart --and to figure out why he does that. Is the lighting too harsh? What an awesome responsibility God has given.

I visited the site and while being a mom can have it's days I know that it's a blessing more often than not. Growing up I was firmly entrenched in the feminist mind set and saw it modeled day in and day out by my own mom. She couldn't wait to send us to school, after school is was daycare and eventually coming home to an empty house as both she and my dad both worked. I wanted nothing more than to go to college become a high profile attorney, have a fancy house, maybe a husband but children were not in that equation at all. I met my husband in late 2000, we married 1-1-01 and lost our first baby in 2-01 then I got pregnant again with our oldest born in 2-02. We now have three and I long for more, I love being a mom even on the days that are long and hard I'm learning to be a more intentional mom and model being a good mom and wife as well as how to be a Christian woman.

When I was asked as a young girl what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was not the often herd, teacher, doctor or other well known perfessions, my answer was... A Wife and Mother. The Lord has truly blessed my life and given me my hearts desire. I am honored to raise, as long as God allows, the 6 beautiful little girls HE has given me. I love that through my children, Gods love for me is more real and clear. Also the faith of my children often convict me and strengthen my own walk with God.

Something about motherhood that has surprised me is how I can now look back on my entire life and see how God has worked to make me exactly who I am today, in the spot I am in today. As a child, I loved playing house, playing school, just playing any game that involved me being a mom at home with my kids. And here I am, at home with my 3-going-on-4 kids, homeschooling them, loving my husband and my life. It couldn't get better! Thanks for the chance to win this incredible bundle!

Even if I don't win the bundle, I plan to purchase the True Christian Motherhood e-book. I totally feel the heartache of finding True Christian mothers! I keep running into mothers who can't wait to get their children 'out if their hair'. And also, I find mothers who think it's godly and right to be a 'tough momma' and ugly :/ It's pretty hard to find women who are mothers, nowadays, with grace and beauty of motherhood. So I'm excited about this group and book :)

I am the mother of 6 and expecting #7! Although I no longer feel like a "young" mother, I could all sorts of encouragement. Most days I feel like a huge failure. Things that I SHOULD be doing with and for the children.

I'm very excited to be a part of this community.

Being a mother is such a blessing. Although there can be struggles, I love them with all of my heart.

There is no greater joy than hearing my children say "I love you" on their own.

I also just bought the book for the Nook. Not sure if that was an entry or not, just thought I'd throw that in the ring too! I hope you are blown away at the response to this book and community!
