The Best Christmas Advent Books to Focus Your Heart on Jesus

With December quickly arriving it is easy to lose sight of all the things we know that Christmas is truly about.

With all the hustle and bustle around us we sometimes just need to be still and seek God's presence in it all.

It is a special time to be still, and to soak up in our hearts His word.

Many people read in the Bible leading up to birth of our Savior but if you are looking for something new or fresh to do this year around you might find out list of Christian Christmas Advent Books.

These are not in any order but I hope you enjoy them!

Here they are:

Unwrapping the Names of Jesus: An Advent Devotional - This is an advent devotional that goes through the names of Jesus leading up to the special day.

Most Christians agree that Christmas is all about Jesus, yet most of us spend little time preparing our hearts to celebrate Him. Why is this? Partly because we don’t know how.
In Unwrapping the Names of Jesus, Asheritah Ciuciu leads readers through the four weeks of Advent (Hope, Preparation, Joy, and Love). Each week:
  • Begins with an interactive family devotional that equips readers to celebrate Advent together
  • Offers five daily reflections that focus on that week's name of Jesus
  • Includes suggestions for fun-filled family activities or service projects
This devotional can be used by readers in their own personal worship times or as a tool to engage in family worship during the busy holiday season. Either way, participants will gain a greater sense of awe and wonder at who Jesus is.

Prepare Him Room invites you to give God sacred space in your holiday season as you ponder the miracle of Christ within you and respond to His work in your life. As you begin your Christmas preparations this year, journey through Luke's account of Jesus' birth, life, death, and ultimate resurrection. God invites you to be still and let Jesus radically transform you this holy season. Let earth receive her King!
This book was just released September of 2021.

The complete story of Christmas from the New King James Version. This is a new release from 2020.

In all the hustle and bustle, we often lose sight of what’s most important. This book of daily readings for the month of December by best-selling author Paul David Tripp will help you slow down, prepare your heart, and focus on what matters most: adoring our Savior, Jesus.
