- Men protect women
- Men are leaders
- Men are responsible as heads of their families
- Men are to teach their children 24/7
- Men are to love their wives as Christ loved the church and be willing to die for them
- Men are to be fruitful and multiply
- Men do not own their bodies, their wives do
- Men must bring up their children in the training and admonition of the Lord
- Men must insure that their whole families and everyone else around them should celebrate the Sabbath
- Mens hearts should be turned toward their children

Dear Mothers,
are we helping our husband raise sons like this?
We know that this is our husbands role to teach our sons
in that special way that only a way a father could and should.
However, the reality is that many mothers are home with their sons for the majority of the time.
Are we reinforcing what Dad is teaching throughout the week?
And...
What kind of sons do we see being raised in culture today?

I love visitng your blog. Such wisdom and encouragement, Thanks for sharing ;)
I enjoy visiting your blog so much, I come here often and always walk away feeling encouraged and strengthened in my job as a mommy and wife. Soothing balm... That is how I feel about it here, I'd rather snag 5 minutes here than have a bubble bath! Your blog is elegant, feminine, biblical and just plain wonderful! Thanks for what you do!
Amen Sista! I'm printing this list out right now to go over with my son while we eat lunch!
Thanks!

Your last question says it all doesn't it! It seems that really good men are few and far between! I'm so thankful for a good husband and sons. Come say hi :D
Great post!
I think now days there are less men being raised. We are seeing more of the "peter pan" type men. They don't want to grow up. They don't want any responsibilities. They are very much into video games, and having only fun & games forever.
I think your post is very serious and informative to many with sons (like myself). The father needs to educated the son on how to be a responsible man of God, and us mothers need to keep up with those teachings while the father is at work. Just as you said it.
Thank you again for another great post!
So true, So true. Whats so sad is today, is a vast majority of parents in this day and age are young kids or teenagers having babies out of wedlock, single parents or homosexual parents. So sad because much of these children are growing up with out a Godly teaching. :( Thanks for sharing! I would like to link you on my fb and post for my followers.
is there a scripture reference for #7?
Frau Guten Tag,
He was probably referring to the verse:
"The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife."
1 Corinthians 7:4
Many blessings...
