Sometimes it is so easy for us here in America to think that we are struggling financially--and think we are deprived or 'poor'. Wow! At this time of year and in these difficult and uncertain financial times it's nice to be reminded of what we need to be thankful for.

Thank you for reminding me how rich I am. We are having dinner on the grounds at church today and I've been worried what to take. But I have so much to choose from. I once heard a missionary speak about soup being made with sticks and leaves. God blesses and we don't stop to realize it. Have a very blessed day.

Thank you so much for this wonderful post and article link. Just this morning I was complaining because I thought my husband and I were poor compared to our friends, neighbours, etc. However, reading your post and the article really put things into perspective and made me realize and appreciate our many, many blessings. Thank you!
