Have you started your holiday baking yet?
We have been wrapping up some final shopping but plan to get to all those things this weekend. My husband has a big family and we are getting ready for a big party next week.
I have been wanting to share a few recipes that I thought you might like to try in case you were looking for something new. I hope you like them!
We like to do a mix of baking so there is more than just cookies here:
Almond Joy Cookies (4 ingredients)
Naomi's Shortbread Cookies (if you are short on time these make a good replacement, you can add different jellies in place of chocolate)
Scrumptious Chocolate Truffles
Yummy Chocolate Raspberry Brownies
Scrumptious Fudge Brownies
Rachael Ray Fudge Wreath
Healthier Chocolate Chips
Peanut Blossoms
Nativity Cookies
You can use these Nativity cookies cutters below with your favorite sugar cookie recipe:

Even as I traveled the world as a young child my grandmother always found a way to send these to our family. What a great memory I had growing up! You can find the recipe here.
We also do some gingerbread house making! We used to do the kits but when that became expensive we now make them on our own. You can easily do this too with graham crackers, frosting, and a variety of candies like mini candy canes, gum drops, and red and green mints.
I like these Gingerbread Cookie Nativity Sets though and would prefer doing something like this:
I hope you and your family have a wonderful time creating warm memories of baking at Christmas time.
What are some of your favorite cookies?
