Every year we plan and do a Gingerbread together and they always look forward to it.
I love the memories we all get to create together and how it gives a time to slow down and spend time together.
So today I wanted to share how you could keep the focus on Jesus while doing your Christmas baking with a Nativity focus.
You could use a Gingerbread Nativity Kit like these two pictured below:

We also like to use the following when we do our holiday gingerbread baking:
- icing
- Christmas sprinkles
- gumdrops
- Christmas M&M's
- mini marshmallows
- mini candy canes
- peppermint candies
You could use whatever you want and what work for your family, we pour them out into bowls and pass it around as needed.
Remember the golden rule--just keep it easy and fun!
