Tittle Family Tornado Victims Emergency Fund

TITTLE-ROB-600px

We were saddened to hear the news about a large homeschooling family that became victims of a horrible tornado this past week. We understand that they were vendors at homeschooling conferences and founded the ministry Reformationkidz.com.

While we didn't know them personally or any of the other victims that suffered in that storm, our prayers and our hearts go out to them. Here is a excerpt from their church website about them:

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.- Psalm 34:18

"On Sunday, April 27th, the Tittle family lost their home in a deadly tornado that hit central Arkansas. Rob (the father) and daughters Tori and Bekah lost their lives. Their home was completely destroyed down to the foundation.

Miraculously, Kerry and the other 7 children have survived with relatively few injuries. Please pray for Kerry and the children as they deal with this loss on many fronts. Pray for comfort, for healing, for strength, and for trust in God when the events of their lives are beyond understanding. God promises in Isaiah 41:10, “I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

More details of the day the tornado struck can be found here.

An emergency fund has been set up by their church, if you would like to donate to help this family please click here.

Thank you for sharing. I'll be praying for them as often as I can remember. This family will need our prayers and Christ-like love for many, many years to come.

Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Jesus's Words from the Sermon on the Mount...Matthew 5:4

Yes, they live about 15 minutes away from us. It's a terrible tragedy. We know of them through our homeschooling group and they go to church with some of our friends. Rob was trying to get the last few kids into the closet under the stairs, but didn't make it in. The family saw something hit him and then he disappeared. Their house not only was destroyed, but the foundation is all that's left. It looks like the house was never even there, and a couple of their possessions were found 80 miles away! It's absolutely so sad - please keep them in your prayers.
