There is a man who loves me.
He is patient and kind.
He has a listening ear.
He is big, yet gentle.
He is protective, and hardworking...
and tries his best to be a godly example to little eyes.
He is focused and steadfast and keeps his head when I loose mine.
He loves me when I am unlovable.
A few nights ago I wasn't feeling well and he prayed over me, giving me a massage to ease me. Then, with a firm loving grip he held my hand into the night, even after he fell asleep.
I felt his protective love for hours into the night and tears came to my eyes.
I am grateful for this man the Lord has sent.
We have been through thick and thin. The Lord took our meager beginnings and faulty foundation, destroyed it, then built up and made it a thousand times stronger than I could have ever imagined.
And today we celebrate 21 years of marriage.
I pray that the legacy of our strong marriage will last into generations. I pray my children would find someone who would sacrifice the way this man has.
I am grateful, Lord.
Help me to be a better wife.
I am undeserving of your great mercies towards me.

Happy Anniversary, dear June! We also just recently celebrated 21 years of marriage. Many of the qualities you describe also describes my husband. We are truly blessed, indeed!
Thank you, Leah...yes, Steve is an amazing man. I get to see all the little things he does on a daily basis and so grateful for how God has grown us every step of the way!
This is beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes. What a tremendous example you both are. Congratulations!
Precious post, June. My amazing man has been with me for 34 years this year. We have never been more in love than we are today...by God's grace, and tender loving mercies.
Have a delightful anniversary! May His richest blessings be yours.
Hugs,
Becky
You ought not make a gal cry so near to bedtime, June. That was a beautiful, beautiful picture. Happy, happy, happy anniversary dear friend. Thankful for you and thankful for the love of man and wife, as I have been given that too. And I know how precious and "mysterious" it is.
Happy Anniversary!! May God bless you more in the years to come. You have been a blessing to many.
Happy anniversary to you. My husband and I are coming up on our 20th this year. We have much to be grateful for. Your site is such an inspiration to me. I saw something that I thought you may want to see. I was reading an article about a TX feminist and thought it should be called: "How the foolish woman will tear down their home." What these women are doing to Holy matrimony and motherhood is wicked.

Please continue to teach the women of all ages what the Bible teaches on these things.
