Today women live in an advanced technological age and we have gadgets that our foremothers would have never dreamed about. However, if not used with wisdom, what begins as a helpful tool can turn into heart-breaking addiction, keeping us from our families and robbing us of our lives.
Are you at that point?
Does technology rule your day?
Do you have trouble keeping technology in balance?
Hands Free Mama describes how the damaging affects affected her life (and her children's) at her post:
She also shares how to GRASP a childhood. Please read her story and be blessed. Also, since summer is around the corner, I added a link to this post for you:

loved this post too.
Such truth!!!!!!!!!
June, The links took me to godaddy instead of her blog. Perhaps her blog is in the middle of transitioning?
Dear Michelle,
That's strange, I just tried both links right now and they work fine. Glitch maybe? Try again!
Many blessings...
June the links are taking me to godaddy instead of her blog post.
June the links are taking me to go daddy, just wanted to let you know.
Yes, I got the godaddy instead also...
I'm also being directed to the godaddy page. Did a search for her website on google and the same happens. Typed in the domain name - cannot get to the site. Thinking her website must be down?
Found her on facebook where it is the the hands free revolution and not handsfreemama and yes,her website is down as she is changing to a new host site to handle the increased amount of traffic.
I just clicked both links at well, and they both sent me to godaddy.com
Thanks for the heads up, ladies! I don't know why it is showing for me and not for you. So sorry about that. :(
Anne, is that her new domain? The old one was handsfreemama.com.
Many blessings...
Amen to this post!
I only have a cell phone for emergency use
No offense to those who do Facebook and other social media, but I avoid these for the same reason....I know myself well enough that I would spend too much time on there instead of being HERE mentally for my children.
Recently I had gotten way too involved in a forum, and I asked the Lord to free me from it. What sweet relief! He is our only hope to break those chains...I used to check that forum several times a day, now I have absolutely no desire to go on it at all. If you are addicted to your phone, social media, etc., ask the Lord to set you free.
My dh is totally addicted to his ipad and the bigcomputer. We are all used to talking to the back of his head. It's sad and I've been praying that the Lord will intervene.
This is so true, June and I'm glad you posted it--all things need to be kept in moderation and under self control, including the area of media. When it keeps us from doing that to which we are called--it becomes a sinful habit.
You got a very beautiful and wise blog here. Loved this space.
Hope to see you on my blog:)
