We have an annual tradition for Valentine's Day that our children really look forward to. I make a special meal that I only prepare on Valentine's Day. (Cajun Shrimp Pasta, salad and homemade french bread with sparkling grape juice.) Then I decorate the table as elegantly as I can with wine glasses, cloth napkins, candles, etc. I have a card and special treat set at each person's plate. I thought this was something only daughters would appreciate, but I am so surprised how special this makes my boys feel and how eagerly they look forward to it every year.

Happy Valentine's Day to you too! My children woke up to a decorated kitchen/school area, a fun heart shaped breakfast, special treats throughout the day and lots of love as usual. I took some pretty pictures of it all and put them on my blog if you would like to see. Hope your day was wonderful!
