The Silent Work of Motherhood

Nothing can compare in beauty,

and wonder,

and admirableness,

and divinity itself, to the silent work in obscure dwellings

of faithful women bringing their

children to honor and virtue and piety.

what does that mean "in divinity itself"?... God is the only Divine and He and His work DOES more than compare to the work of motherhood.

Dear Rose,

If you are new to my blog, I would like to assure you that we do not esteem the role of motherhood unbiblically to equate it with or beyond God. There are other definitions to this word and here is what was found over at Dictionary.com:

-godlike character; supreme excellence.

I like to think he was referring to that.

Many blessings...
