I Work For A King

"I work for a King. He has put me in charge of his home. When He comes to see how I have managed His possessions and His children, I do not want to be found wanting. I want to do my best. Everything I have is on loan from Him. I have room and board and a job to do, but it is all for Him. Therefore I want to dress my best and do my best in all my work. I also want to be creative, for this is a sincere attempt to glorify Him and His beautiful creation. How I manage my home is a form of worship to Him."

How beautiful and so true! Lady Lydia is an inspiration and so are you!

I checked out your husband's blog and it just brought me to tears! You and your children must be such a blessing for a man to write such wonderful and heartfelt things about ya'll.

I always enjoy coming to visit you and I pray that you and God Bless You and Your Family!

I hope everyone understands that the King I was referring to was my Heavenly Father!! I received several remarks shortly after that was published, saying they thought I was talking about my husband and that they thought it was a rather strange talking about an ordinary man that way....however when we serve our real king, our Lord Jesus, our husbands are truly benefitted by our dedication to Him. I love your pictures and graphics! I would like to know the names of them and the artists and the sources sometime.

Lady Lydia,

I can't believe anyone would think you were implying your husband--well, I hope that clears things up, perhaps I should make a note in parentheses?

Many blessings...

June you need to remove "all knowing man" comments and his website address from this blog. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. You would not want his deceitful comments associate with your wonderful Christian blog. He starts by talking about the husband providing for the wife, etc, etc and then you see his real agenda-see Feb 16 posting-WARNING contains VERY OFFENSIVE SEXUAL material.Just reading the first sentence was enough to click off his website. No one should have to experience this embarassment. BEWARE of "all knowing man"he is a snake with another AGENDA and its not to just to give FINANCIAL advice to women. In Christ love, a friend.

Hi. I was wondering if you could tell me where you got the picture of the little boy building a castle with blocks? I have the same picture on my blog and can not figure out where I got it from!:) Thanks, Lori

Your blog has been such an inspiration for me, and I have been a regular visitor for a few months now. Even though I live on the other side of the globe (Finland, Europe) I can still find similarities in our beliefs and ways of life.

I'm a 25-years old wife, homemaker and a stay-at-home mother. I've been married for 6 years and we have two lovely daughters, ages 9 months & 2yrs 4months.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and wisdom. I have learned a lot, this site has been a blessing for me.
