May She Have Daughters
May she have daughters
of her own
to care
when she is old
and I am gone.
I should have loved
to care for her once more
as I did then
long years before.
I was a mother young
and she---my child.
Caring was joy. So when
she is old and I am There,
may she have daughters of her own
to care.

This is a beautiful poem. Thank you so much for sharing. Congratulations on your year of blogging. I just recently found your blog and love reading the posts. I especially enjoy how you capture the essence of godly womanhood. How beautiful it truly is when we are living according to the plan of our Creator.
