I love that last comment by Finney. Herb and I have been involved in many "Revival Meetings", sometimes lasting for weeks in Tennessee. True Revival, I also believe, generates a new obedience to Christ's words. If it's just an emotional event with nothing to follow--true revival has not taken place. In the Old Testament--revival came when the Book of the Law was pulled out and Israel repented and began again to do the commands of God. May we see true revival in our day as well.
