Hail the King!
A few months ago I was teaching my children out of the Book of Revelation. I had heard of a preacher who exalted Christ in a very masculine way teaching how he came out of the heavens with an army of angels on a horse with a sword coming out of his mouth ready for war on earth. I knew my sons would just love it (why are sons naturally drawn to violence and bloodshed?) So I attempted to draw the entire scene on our school board. My version was very opposite of the picture above since I possess no artist abilities---my Jesus and angels were stick figures and the horses looked liked pitiful clumps of marshmallows----but they LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEDDDD it!
Then I found this beautiful piece above. I beckoned my sons to come and take a look. Their eyes were wide and filled with wonder---there was complete silence and then a reverent whisper came:
"Wow..."
Wow indeed, let's hail the Almighty King in reverence, praise and worship for His kingdom is at hand!

Good morning, Mrs. Fuentes! I love that picture! Where did you find it?
Your site is such an encouragement to me - and, yes, the Holy Spirit convicts me through the things you write about. Please keep it up!
To be honest with you, I don't remember. I'd like to get better at labeling these pictures because I'd like to acquire my own library of these beautiful pieces. I like to do alot of searches through art galleries, etc. though so maybe that would help. Have a great week!
I know that this is an old post....don't know if you will even see this, but I wanted to let you know that I have that very picture hanging in my living room. I loved it so much that my hubby purchased it for me as a wedding gift.
I stumbled across your blog and I love it! The content and the beautiful art! Where do you kind these? If you google them what are the keywords? I have a couple on my site which is for moms in relation to traing children. It took a lot of searching for just the kind of art you have.
Thanks for sharing all you do!
