Every year in January my husband likes to print out a Bible reading plan for the family. This year he printed out two different options for the children that he thought they might like. It was funny because the two older boys had printed out on of the same exact plans just a few months ago!
I wanted to give you all some links in case you are interested in going through the Bible this year. I highly encourage you to if you haven't read through the Bible before. I know many people like to do it year after year and the benefits they reap are eternal.
Here they are a some good options:
Ligioner Ministries
Bible Study Tools
New Life Church
90 Day Challenge
The Busy Life Plan
Elizabeth George's Bible Plan
Revive Our Heart's Bible Plans
YouVersion and Bible Reading Plan are apps you can use with plans too!
There are also many Bible apps that you can read the Bible through too, if you find it easier to access your phone.
Some of you might also like to just go through a book that helps you read through the year.
If that is your preference, here are a few options:
They also have this available in NLT, KJV, and NKJV.
This one is an ESV (English Standard Version).
If you really struggle with reading through the Bible you might want to check out Tricia Goyer's book, Praying Through the Bible in One Year, where she shares her struggle an tips on how she changed it:
I hope these are a blessing to you!

Dear Marilyn and Marion,
Thanks for stopping by - we hope you have a BLESSED New Year too!
Thank you for these! I enjoy trying different plans for reading the Bible through in a year. I've done this for many years, but the last couple of years I've taken a break and decided to go through the Bible at a little slower pace and incorporating listening to an audio version as well as reading every day.
I've read the Bible through multiple times, but listening to it has brought new depth to it. I didn't quite get through the whole Bible last year (reading and listening combined), but I'll try again this year. :)
Dear Miss Sarah,
So wonderful to hear that you have read the Bible multiple times and now listening to it, what an encouragement to the rest of us! You are welcome and hope it blesses you.
