Just a word of caution. While I do agree with the need for instructing our children in the way of holiness, there is no guarantee that your child will not turn away from the Lord.
We brought our children up in the Lord, and our oldest has turned away from the Lord, in fact, doesn't believe God exists. All we can do now is pray for him, that those seeds that were planted and nourished all those years will bring him back to the Lord.
