We are wrapping up our Focus on Fall Series with a visit to our local Apple Orchard!
We love visiting every year since it is only open for about two months during the season. They have a ton of things to do like:
- corn maze
- pumpkin patch
- apple picking
- animal farm
- haybale maze and pumpkin crushing dinosaur
- moo choo rides
- live entertainment
- barn full of food and goodies for shopping
This year when we went it rained pretty hard so we didn't get to really go out doors, but the children didn't mind--they love just going for the fresh donuts and apple cider!
Here are a few pictures (even though they are mainly inside):
I love that they had some different types of season food items this year
like the pumpkin mole and curry! Yum!
It is always usually packed when we go, this year was no different.
The live band was playing Christian music so that was a plus!
I love how they sell old fashioned toys like this Pull Puppet!
They sell all kinds of gourds to decorate your home with!
And tons of things for inside your home as well!
I love this leaf!
They also had tons of great cookbooks for fall cookin'!
I think I need that pumpkin tureen...
They have a huge cornucopia where you can sit and take pictures.
I had to lay down a coat so little Bella wouldn't get wet.
Even though it rained we still enjoyed our time together! We brought many sweets home and got the kids a few gift toys. I am so glad that they have this place as one of their childhood memories.
I hope you enjoyed our pictures!
