Here is a peek inside my life this past week:

I made this AMAZING soup in my crockpot last week--it was super simple and fast which was the best part. It was great for a cold day and I made some biscuits to go along with it.

It is a Chicken Tater tot soup with veggies. I will share the recipe with you all soon! Don't you just love soup in the middle of winter?

Here are my daughters, Janai and Joy. They went out yesterday shopping and out to eat and spent some time together as sisters. They are ten years apart (Janai is 24) and really don't get  a chance to see eachother often due to busy schedules so I was glad they had some time to catch up. Daughters are such a blessing in so many ways!

I was out shopping the other day with my son Joshua and found this huge fruit at the supermarket. It is called a jackfruit  --has anyone out there ever tried? If so, how do you prepare it? I didn't buy it but I thought it would be interesting to try it one day.
