Recently my husband and daughters attended a beautiful night out at a special Father & Daughter Banquet held by some sweet friends of ours, here they are getting their picture taken by a photographer as a keepsake.

It is important to invest time into our children. Whether it is taking the time to take them to a special night out or just sitting with them at the end of the day and catching up on what is going on in their hearts. They key is to be just be available for them when they need you.

Daughters don't stay little forever but instead grow into beautiful young women who will spread their wings one day and fly. I am realizing that with an older daughter who is now 21, and because of this I am cherishing the time spent with her because I know that change is always on the horizon and I don't want to miss a minute of today.
There are many good things that will vie for our attention and time but nothing is more taken for granted than time with loved ones. I like what my friend shared the other day:
With my fourth daughter still in utero (kicking softly in my womb while I type this), I am grateful that I get another chance to do it all again with a brand new daughter--children are truly a gift from the Lord!
I hope you will take the time to invest in your family this week--I encourage you to do something special like take a walk, read a book together, go out for ice cream, and just shrug aside the to-do lists and worries of today. Those things can wait but time will not hold still for these precious growing children.
Wouldn't you agree?
We hope you enjoyed our pictures!

Great series of photos, and your header is lovely!
What sweet lovely young ladies your girls have grown up to be. I've been reading here for years, and it's such a joy when you share family pictures.
