Today in my daily women's devotional I looked to find this lovely thought awaiting me:
The wise women builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands. Proverbs 14:1

The woman!
She sets the mood and maintains the atmosphere inside the home.

In fact, this proverb teaches that if the woman is wise, she diligently and purposefully creates the atmosphere.
She doesn't just hope it will happen.

Beautiful thought - thank you. This is something I've been talking about as part of the series on the book Creative Counterpart on my blog. One thing I said was that women are like the
"thermostat" of the home, making the difference between a warm, loving home and a cold, indifferent house.
