Our Humble Home: Bedroom Redecorating

I am so happy to say that I repainted and redecorated our bedroom!

I went with a pink, white, and gold modern theme and I totally love it.

It was previously decorated in warm earthy tones but I wanted to make it bright, happy and more modern.

We painted all the walls white--the kids all helped with this!

Since I already had a similar white blanket I wanted to add white fur and pink to top it off to achieve this look from my Pinterest board.

For privacy reasons I will not be sharing my real bedroom, I am sure you can understand!

We painted the walls all white.

I bought these blankets. First this is a white fur blanket--it is super soft and doesn't shed:

And two super soft pink blankets to drape over the end of the bed and cover a chair:

And these white furry pillows:

And these gold ones to match my gold headboard:

And these lovely white sheer curtains:

I was going to go with this rug:

But instead went with this Safavieh Dallas Shag Collection rug until my husband replaces the carpet with laminate flooring.  I was definitely pleased when I got it--it is so much more beautiful in person and the color is nicer and looks nice at the end of my bed. I will go with the larger on up above when it is in.

I loved the results-my bedroom is now my most favorite room in the house to rest in!
