Advent starts on the 4th Sunday before Christmas. These days, especially Sundays, leading up to Christmas are days of preparation for our celebration of the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the cultural busyness of our world, we benefit from setting time aside to quiet our hearts and remember.
An easy way to do Advent daily readings would be to read the book of Luke one chapter a day leading up until Christmas starting December 1st. It has exactly 24 chapters so it is perfect!
