5 Favorite Books by Jane Austen

Today we are sharing our second post from our Summer Reading Series that I mentioned last week. Summer is the time to slow down, grab a good book, savor good words, drink something yummy, linger, and just be. I love the time we get to refresh our souls a bit!

I wanted to share something fun so I thought I would share a list for you vintage lovers on Jane Austen! Maybe you have read one and wanted to read another but just haven't had time. Summer is the time to do those things you've always wanted to do!

EXTRA NOTABLE BOOKS:

JANE AUSTEN AT HOME -

Take a trip back to Jane Austen's world and the many places she lived as historian Lucy Worsley visits Austen's childhood home, her schools, her holiday accommodations, the houses--both grand and small--of the relations upon whom she was dependent, and the home she shared with her mother and sister towards the end of her life. In places like Steventon Parsonage, Godmersham Park, Chawton House and a small rented house in Winchester, Worsley discovers a Jane Austen very different from the one who famously lived a 'life without incident'.

If you'd prefer to watch the entire collection this boxed set might be a good choice:
