This year our local schools seemed to go back pretty early in early and mid August. I am wondering what happened to the old days when schools would start after Labor Day? The summer just keeps feeling shorter and shorter.
But I know that probably works out for many of you--to have your children in school early or when the heat is on and you can't bare to hit the outdoors and prefer to hit the books instead!
I just finished getting all of my school supplies together and curriculum has already ready arrived. And since everything is so fresh in my mind I thought I would write out a quick supply list in case anyone still needed one or forgot anything.
(Don't forget we also have some helpful homeschool ideas on our Homeschool Pinterest Boards!)
Here are some things that you will need for a year of back to school or might just want just in case:
Ticonderoga pencils (they are the best, no breaking and constant sharpening)
dry eraser board
loose leaf paper
glue or glue sticks
index cards and flashcards
laminator & sheets
laptop or tablets
dry eraser markers
ear or head phones (for online classes)
paints and paint brushes
certificates & awards
new back to school clothes
toys to keep toddlers busy
Don't forget that if you have Amazon Prime you can get two day FREE shipping!
That's all I can think of right now--can you think of anything I missed?
Add it in the comments below and I will try to add it to this list!

QUICK HELPFUL TIP BEFORE I GO:
My very favorite pencil in the world, these wonderful Ticonderoga pencils (I am telling you because they don't break, even with 5 boys!) are on sale for $9.96 for nearly 100! That is about 10 cents a pencil and a super great deal. It is only for a limited time so don't miss it!
