When I miscarried a child over seven years ago I saved this poem although I am not sure who had written it. I'd like to share it with you.
Little baby fastened in my womb
Partaker of my life
Though hidden from view
Changer of my course
Expander of my waist
Enlarger
And developer of my faith.
Oh little one who rented out my room
I never though our lives would be
Untied so soon.
You left in sudden haste
And emptied out my small domain.
Child of ours,
What is your name?
For though I've longed to carry you once more
You've already been perfected
In the presence of the Lord.
So my goal for you is gained
In a place of great delight
And soon in glory
We will
Re-unite.

What a beautiful poem! I lost a little one 15 years ago at Thanksgiving and he is never far from my thoughts. I know we have a little one awaiting our arrival and it makes heaven all the sweeter.
Blessings,
Lea
Thank you for sharing this poem! My mother had a miscarriage a little over two years ago. My parents named him/her Orly. He/She is never too far away from our thoughts.
I praise God our Father for that poem. I had a miscarriage not too long ago. It is comforting to know we have true hope(s) to awake to when the Father sends our Lord Jesus back.
I've just recently found your blog and found these beautiful words. Thank you for sharing them. They rang so true in my heart. I have 5 angels waiting on me. I can't wait to be reunited with them someday. I also have 5 blessing here with me now, 3 daughter and 2 sons. I homeschool them and pray daily I'm serving God in all do and teach them. May to God go all the glory!
