Inspiring Christian Books for Teen Boys

Note: This post contains affiliate links, please see our disclosure policy.

Last week I shared about a new Christian book series my boys have been reading through and we had a great response from all of you!

We want our young men to be inspired and know that there is more out there than the culture that they see, that there are young men out there who are doing bold, inspiring, every day things for God. That they are living lives to glorify him even in the face of adversity.

We want to reach our boys while they are still moldable and teachable and plant good seed in them so that they will remember when they are older and not depart from it. Yes, they will make mistakes but we still need to build a good foundation in them.

With 5 boys of my own I am reminded of my great responsibility to sow as much good seed into them as I can as the time is so fleeting. It goes so fast and then one day you wake up and they are no longer little boys but young men who are ready to take on the world.

So I thought I would share a few more books that would inspire your young men since I have been asked to many times over the years. These books are to help them make good choices and learn good morals and to fight the good fight when they go out on their own. Some are biographies, historical, classics and I even added some audio CD's too.

Here they are:

1. Bible - This book is like no other--it is a living book and God breathed and it is the first and only book we recommend to change your child's life. Depending on the age range of your son it will depend on what type you get him. The one pictured below is HERE.

2. Don't Waste Your Life - John Piper Book

What a great selection of books! I can't tell you how many copies I've purchased of "7 Men ..." My husband and I read it out loud during a road trip and since then we have given away more than a few copies. But I'll be pinning this post for other great gift ideas.

Dear Christian Teen, have you had a chance to read any Lamplighters? My son's favorite was The White Knight by W.E. Cule. It is 185 pages. Hope that helps!
