Easter Basket Gifts for Children That Are Healthy & Practical

Do you give gifts or baskets for Easter to your children or grandchildren?

I know some of you don't because you feel you just want to focus on the real meaning of the day, but many of you do and there is nothing wrong with that either!

While we don't personally do baskets, we do give a small gift, and it is usually given before the day of Easter so we can focus on the actual day.  I know that many devout Christian parents and grandparents like to give gifts because they want to show their love and/or make the day special.

I have been hearing from you that you would like to give children things that they can really use--not just items that:

  • might break that day
  • will not last long and are more practical
  • that will clutter up the house
  • are lot of candy/junk food

I wanted to share some ideas here and will start with some spiritual theme gift ideas first. I think that is a good place to start since that is what Easter is about, but feel free to also add to it with anything else mentioned on this list!
