Are you all in for your kids reading wholesome books?
How about something wholesome, inspiring, and chock full of rich Christian history?
In the past month, we recently shared two really popular posts on books --Christian Fiction Books for Kids and Christian Mystery Books for Kids. So many of you shared your favorites with us that we wanted to share them with the rest of the world.
But our readers kept mentioning Christian biographies so we thought we should share a post pulling all of that in one place so it would be easy to find!
These books are great for readers, learning your history on a personal level, and wonderful to add to your homeschooling curriculum. Many times I will have my children narrate what they learned or write a book report on them.
I hope this list is a blessing to you!
Here they are and feel free to click on the images too:

I wish my daughters were little again so I would have an excuse to buy some of these books. Another series of Christian books that we loved were the Trailblazers books written by Dave and Neta Jackson. We still have a few here of some of my favorite heroes of the faith.
ReplyDeleteThank You for this wonderful list .

Marilyn has just given me permission to buy some of these books. Lol
ReplyDeleteBut seriously she is right. You can learn a lot from these books. Some of the Trailblazer books we have here I hadn't even read. I just realized we have one about Menno Simons whom the Mennonites are named after. I plan on reading it this weekend, Lord willing.
Dear Regina,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing those, I will have to add them too! Blessings to you!
Dear Marion,

Dear Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, oftentimes, I want to dive in along with my children. When I can't I have them narrate and tell me what they learned so I get to learn along with them!
