Have you been wanting some wholesome reading for your children?
Something they can read that shares your Christian values?
Or maybe teach history along with biblical principals?
When I go to the library I am sad to see the selections that they offer there especially knowing that so many children have read many of the titles.
It is a wonderful thing when they can read something that will inspire them, educate them, and help them grow in understanding and in their walk with the Lord.
I always hear of moms who are asking for Christian fiction for their children and teens so we have collected a quick list here. Some are written by Christian authors or and even homeschool dads. They are mixed so be sure to check for age appropriateness! Please note that if there is only one book pictured that there are usually several in the series--I just didn't have enough time to add them all. But if you click through the pictures or links you will find the rest of the books.
Let's begin:
Moody Family Series
They can also be found at their website Titus2.com.
Choice Stories for Children & Stories Worth Rereading
Miller Family Series
The Amazing Tales of Max and Liz
Imagination Station
Sugar Creek Gang Books
American Adventure Series
Sisters in Time
Elsie Dinsmore
This one is not fiction but I had to include it anyways- The Little House on the Prairie
Kingdom Series by Chuck Black older
The Dream Traveller's Quest by Ted Dekker
Green Ember stories written by homeschool dads
Jonathan Park
Christian Heritage Series
Lamplighters for Olders
What are some of your favorite Christian fiction book series?

Thanks for some great ideas! Keeping a kid in good books is a lot bigger challenge - and a lot more important - than keeping them in clothes! I appreciate the help : )
ReplyDeleteCooper Kid Adventures by Frank Peretti or The Hidden Door series by Bill Myers both are great for mystery/adventure. I'd say 9-13 year old reading probably.
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice list. The Mandie Series is a nice mystery series. Mandy starts at elementary age and the last book takes her into college. The Northwest Adventures is another Christian series for children.
