This past week and year has brought many to feel upset, angry, and anxious about what is going on here in our country and around the world.
While the world may look like it is crumbling and falling apart we need to remember what is most important:
God is in control and He is sovereign.
We know that everything is in His hands and we can trust Him alone for the outcome.
We need to be steadfast in our faith, not taking our eyes off Him.
He will not fail us and He is true to His Word.
He is holy and just and will not let the wicked go unpunished.
He loves us and cares for us with an unfailing love.
All things are done for His glory.
Recently we shared on our Facebook page asking women to share some biblical advice on how to deal with it and here were some of their answers:
Lean not on your own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight. I lift my eyes to the hills , where does my help come from. My help comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and earth. - Laura
Even if it looks like things are out of control, God is in control and working in ways we may never see. Romans 8:28 - Robin
Find your peace in Him. - Jessica
God wins in the end... let him take care of all of your worries and concerns. Let him use you to be a mighty force for him! Pray up, Bible up, Armour up and be ready for the strength he will give you to get through whatever comes your way. But inevitably God Does Win in the end! Rest assured! -Sherrie
In this world you will have tribulation, but take heart for I have overcome the world. Put your trust in Jesus. We walk by faith and not by sight. - Fikile

*A quick note--be sure to use discretion. While this is our Facebook page anyone is able to comment so please filter with the God's Word as the final authority!
And a few final action steps:
1. Turn off the news/social media and take a break. (It's wise to be aware but too much can be unhealthy.)
2. Open up the Bible and saturate yourself in His Word.
3. Turn up some praise and worship music!
4. Pray to Him all throughout the day.
I hope this post was a blessing to you!
