Did you know that April is National Poetry Month?
We celebrated with a Spring Tea and just kept it quick and simple using what we had around the house.
I had gotten these new gold mugs (pictured above and below) and I love them--they are a set of six and have come in quite handy.
We decided to pull out a few snacks:
This was a tiramisu cake that was leftover from a few days before that I also put out to finish up.
Bella made several pink paper tissue flowers for the party the day before. I am glad I got a shot of one of them! She took a lot of time to make them because she was so excited about our tea party.
Here are the books we read:
(Bella reading one of her books out loud)
One of the favorite with the boys because they play basketball for a local private Christian school (they even won State this year!) was this book:
I also got the kids a game for afterwards, this time it was Gravity Maze!
They had a great time playing with it, there are like 60 cards in it for different designs they have to guess.
If you are looking for a new game for them you can find this HERE.
I hope you enjoyed a peek into our tea party!
