I recently turned the big 50 this past summer!
I feel a bit older and wiser! This year has been quite a year of transitioning for our family in several ways. But we survived and grateful for all that the Lord has taught us.
Here are a few things that I grew in my garden this past summer:
We grew a ton of things including sweet potatoes, green beans, jalapeƱos, green pepper, zucchini, tomatoes, kale, lettuce and more.
The best part of our summer was that we spent a ton of time in the water-- swimming in our pool, at our waterpark, and at the beach:
Our second oldest son left for college and is doing well there and we miss him a ton.
I did do a post for those who need a college dorm check list, you can find it here.
We are in the midst of football season for our boys:
We visited the Apple Orchard on opening day and I found these lovelies:
Aren't they cute/?
My niece recently had a beautiful birthday party for her daughter and my sister-in-law made this beautiful castle cake from scratch!
She put so much love into it, isn't it gorgeous?
Here is what i am reading - Morning Time: A Liturgy of Love. I will share more on this book in the near future!
We also went to visit The Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit on our anniversary:
I already have a post to share with you about our visit that is coming this week...
And lastly an updated pic of our sweet pup, Jia!
I hope you enjoyed our pictures!
