Thanksgiving Books for Kids

Our rural ancestors, with little blest, Patient of labour when the end was rest, Indulged the day that housed their annual grain, With feasts, and off’rings, and a thankful strain.”– Alexander Pope

Thanksgiving is near and it is time to break out some good books for the children!

We love getting the books out and reading especially together during our Poetry Tea Times. It is a fun way to connect with your children and teach them the true meaning of the holiday.

Whether you read around the table, snuggled on the couch under a blanket, or at bedtime--the following books will bless you and your little one and several are even faith centered!

Teaching our children about history and being grateful are two important things that they can learn in the month of November. There are so many things that you can include to make this a special month for them like Thanksgiving activities or making a Thankful Tree. I hope that by adding in some these wonderful and wholesome books that it will be a blessing to your entire family.
