Today I wanted to share some Easter menu ideas with you and what we are doing because every year we have a large family get together and make large portions of just about everything!
Every year menu varies a bit but it always include some of this:
MAIN DISH
2 or 3 GLAZED SPRIAL HAMS (in the crockpots, I like to add orange marmalade with brown sugar and honey and top with maraschino cherries and sliced pineapple)
SLOW COOKER POT ROAST - with potatoes, onion, and carrots

And this year we are going to Blackstone because I have a son who begged to do it we will have Italian sausage & chicken. This will feed a lot of people without having to do cook more meat in the house.
We have also done duck in the crockpot and roasted lamb with garlic in the past before too so don't be afraid to try different things!
THE SIDES
GRAM'S DEVILED EGGS - we buy four dozen so makes it close to 100. My oldest daughter usually makes this one. It is make with bacon and goes likes hotcakes!
TAFFY APPLE SALAD WITH MARSHMALLOWS - we make about 10 pounds of this and sometimes even add snickers to it. We usually use bright colored marshmallows and makes it look so pretty with the pinks and greens.
CARROT RAISIN SALAD - my sister in law brings this every year
CACTUS (NOPALES) - this is definitely something I love that my brother-in-law has made that goes perfectly with all the meat. If you haven't tried it before, you should because it is amazing and good for you!
FRUIT SALAD - a mixture of grapes, blueberries, strawberries and whatever else is in season
MAC & CHEESE
ROLLS
SALAD
DESSERT
3 LAYER SHERBERT TORTE

And we ask everyone to bring a side and a dessert so we my sister-in-laws usually make pistachio fluff salad, cake, etc. We usually also have someone bring Mexican or Puerto Rican rice since too!
Sometimes we might even get a lamb cake for the kids:
We usually end up with a ton of food that won't even fit inside the house from everyone bringing something and we have to put some food outside on the deck!
