Tornado Destroys Home of Kelly Crawford of Generation Cedar--Please Donate to Help their Family ***UPDATED**

Dear Readers, we need you to pray for Kelly Crawford of Generation Cedar.

We have heard that they just lost their home, and their parents home, due to a terrible tornado passing through. Apparently they had taken refuge in a neighbors basement with a few families. Praise God that they are okay and pray that the Lord would comfort them, strengthen their faith and provide during this difficult time.

We are taking donations to help their family.
If you would like to send something to help, you many donate any amount here:

PLEASE use the share buttons below to share this on Twitter and Facebook or post about this on your blogs so we can get the word out to help them! Also spread the word at your churches to pray for them as well.

P.S. For those of you who don't know, they also just had a new baby this past week.

A note from Kelly's brother:

This is Chris Liverett, Kelly's brother. I am in Colorado.

I wanted to thank you for your heart of service and willingness to BE the body of Christ global. Please pray for comfort along with any donation. I spoke with her briefly last night. Their were 4 families in their house, in the lower portion when the tornado hit. Total devastation to so many homes and families.

Please pray that Kelly and her family can grasp the hope and Love of our amazing God during such times.

My emotions erupted when I saw this post and realized the reality of what I have been telling her. "God is able and ready to provide over and above what we can imagine"

Thank you in advance.

*****UPDATE*****

Kelly just posted an update with a picture of their home,

Video footage of the wreckage and more on the Crawford's can be found here.

Stacy McDonald just notified us to let us know that her church (Providence Church) is accepting donations to help families as well, you can read all about it and donate here.

I have a friend in Birmingham that would love to give some local, practical help to them. Can someone let them know that if they need assistance, that I know a SWEET local family that can help them? Thanks!

Hello:

I am planning to donate. I would just like to know how and when the money will be passed on to Kelly and her family.

This is really terrible and sad. Glad they are ok.

I'm going to donate as well, thank you for providing this opportunity to help them. Do you know if something was purchased through her store if she would be able to get to that order? Just wondering, because if so I'm sure that could help too.

Do you know of a mailing address that donations could be mailed to? You can e-mail me at bnteasley@gmail.com if you don't want to post the info public.

Thank you so much. <3

May God continue to show unending mercy and providence in this hour of trial for this and the other precious families.

I am so thankful for all of you and your donations. I will try to answer a few questions very quickly:

1. When will the money get to Kelly? I just posted over at her blog to let her know we were accepting donations and waiting to her back from her to send it.

2. Lisa, please leave a message to Kelly over at Generation Cedar so she could contact you friend.

3. Brandy, you might just want to contact Kelly over at her blog as well to find out an address where she could pick up the money.

Hope that helps and please keep the donations coming!

Many blessings...

Kelly,

They are in Alabama.

Many blessings...

I made a button for the Alabama families. The code to put it in your blogger sidebar is at my website, jandmranch.com on my sidebar

I don't know if that will get through comment moderation, but hope the button can be of some use. There is no need to publish the comment, just thought the button would be nice for bloggers to post in their sidebars.

another way that we could help the crawfords would be to purchase some e-books. i have been meaning to buy a couple for awhile now and just haven't gotten around to it. so i just went to the store and bought them all! :-) once you pay, the system just automatically puts you in a download page and you can have them right away. you get great e-books, the crawfords have a revenue stream coming in - everybody wins. if you don't use the "bundle" discount code you make a bigger donation :-)

i hope this helps out. in Christ alone - lisa ente
