We didn't get flooded b...I'm just north of Houston. We didn't get flooded but we lost power for 14 days. We also lost our back fence and some sort of flying debris broke our car windshield. We were lucky though. Many of my neighbors lost entire roofs and some had trees completely uprooted and land in their homes. The destruction ...We live outside of Beaumont TX. The destruction in Bridge City and surrounding areas are horrible. Only 14 homes in Bridge City did not flood. We know so many people that lost everything that the need is overwhelming. Since we were not in storm surge area we all rode out the storm. It lasted 13 1/2 hours.
