Do you have a high school or college graduate this year?
Last year we had graduated our twin sons, Josiah and Christian. I had experienced a roller coaster of bittersweet emotions ranging from complete giddiness that the year is over to the unexpected tears when I realize they won't be joining our homeschool for the coming year. Their senior year went by pretty quickly with three sports -football, basketball, and volleyball, and the blur of taking senior photos and prom at the end (they both had dates this year!) and all the group hangouts. It was such a fun ride and went by so fast.
We had their graduation party at the beach--so much fun and so many family and friends showed up. We are so grateful for every one of them!
Now if you have a graduate or going to a grad party I thought I would would share some gift ideas for you below:
A Bible - every grad needs the light, wisdom, and counsel of the Word of God!
I recently got this one for my son which is great and has the tabs and everything. You can find some for ladies here and I also found this nice Graduation gift Bible pack.
199 Favorite Bible Verses for Graduates
Leather bound journal
Grad Gear
Bracelet
Pen with Scripture
Inspirational necklace
Gift cards
These make great gifts because they get things they need for their new college dorm room or anything else they would need for their bright new future. If they are going away some food or restaurant gift cards would also come in handy.
God's Promises for Graduates
Coffee mug
Luxuriously Soft Scripture Grad throw blanket
And here are some throws/blankets specifically for the Class of 2019.
Lap desk with light
Electronics for college - a good laptop, headphones or Airpods, an iPad tablet, smartwatch, or even Alexa for their dorm room.
Laptop case
Book bag
Luggage
Basket Gift Sets - like food basket, cleaning supplies for a new dorm or apartment, or personal hygiene (soaps, lotions, etc.).
The Manual to Manhood
This book is not Christian but contains some good basic information for everyday skills that he would need as a man. Here is an inspirational book for ladies.
Don't forget Max Lucado's Pocket Prayers for Graduates: 40 Simple Prayers that Bring Hope and Direction
And of course, cash is always a favorite with a cute graduation card!
What gifts would you add or have given in the past?
We'd love to hear about them!
