I definetly needed this today. Homeschooling is a way of life. I felt discouraged this morning. You see, I am the only parent that homeschools their kids at church. Trying to make others understand our way of learning sometimes, makes me feel like an odd ball. Which is what I had to explain to one of our Sunday school teachers today. Our way of learning doesn't fit all. We make the necessary adjustments to suit our children's needs. I'm so glad you posted this video, it brought tears to my eyes. Homeschooling for me has had its challenges, but its been the best experience we've had in education by far! It works! Thank you for your encouraging words! God bless you! :)
Thank you for sharing this. I homeschooled our son through first grade (due to a very difficult kindergarten situation). He's back in public school and in second grade now; we caved to the pressure of making sure he's "socialized." But, if I'm honest with myself, I can feel the Lord pulling me back toward homeschooling. This video is just one of the several ways in which He's nudging me. Time to pray.
