The ABC's of Freezer Cooking and 5 Copy Giveaway!

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to have an extra hour in the evening to yourself and not have to worry about the dreaded question, "Hey Mom, what's for dinner?" then freezer cooking just might be for you.

The ABC'S of Freezer Cooking covers all the basics to teach you how and how not to prepare freezer meals for your family. From cooking all your meals for a month in just one day, or preparing just a few extra meals for when you're family is particularly busy, this book is full of helpful tips and tricks to help you make it happen.

Available for Kindle and Nook
(Also Available In Print for $5.99)

Included are meal plan ideas, money saving strategies, basic recipes, and there is even a section on how to utilize freezer cooking as a weight loss tool. If you're looking for a quick read, and an introduction into the world of make-ahead meals then this book is the perfect place to get started.

This book is written by KM Logan, who blogs over at Lessons From Ivy, and whom is also the author of many several other books you may have heard of such as Counting It Joy, Choosing Thanks and Contentment, Devotions for the First Few Days, The Matthew 6:33 Piano Teacher,  and my favorite one--Honoring a Child Born to Heaven. (This last one I just mentioned is very helpful to mothers who have suffered through all types of pregnancy loss, especially miscarriage. It includes touching ways to honor a baby born to heaven rather than their mother's arms. It is a book of Christian hope written by a Mom who has gone through multiple pregnancy losses. It doesn't attempt to put a band-aid on grief, rather it gives the reader permission to honor, celebrate, commemorate, and remember their child's life in whatever way they see fit.)

You can find all of KM Logan's books HERE, (a few are in print too!) and several of the ebook are as low as 99 cents!

You can get The ABC's of Freezer Cooking here for just $2.99.

I *really* need to get better about freezer cooking so that my kids can get to bed at a reasonable hour and not still be eating dinner at 8 pm.

I would love to win this because I'm pregnant with our first child, and before the baby arrives I hope to stock the freezer so I can still provide our family with homemade meals! :)

I love new ways for feeding my family. While freezer cooking isn't "new" to me, I love new ideas.

I would like this book because I have attempted freezer cooking but only in small amounts. A well-stocked freezer would bring a lot of peace to our home since the baby always needs more attention in the evening and my husband is often still at work.

I would love to win to simplify our dinner time routine. I would love to just pull out of the freezer dinner so I can spend more time when it counts with my family.

I am finding that the eating and cooking done by our family is changing (we are trying to be more healthy and at the same time, my old proportions are not enough anymore), as we approach the birth of #5 :-) Anything to help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Dear Shelly,

Try giving it some time to let it load--if not go ahead and refresh the page and see if it will load up again.

Many blessings...

I really need more ideas and encouragement to make more meals ahead. With a toddler and infant and dad deployed it can be quite tough some nights to get dinner on the table. Thank you for this giveaway.

I love freezer cooking and love finding new resources for new recipes. Freezer cooking can help on so many levels. When you're super busy. A gift to someone who is pregnant or maybe shut in. Having your own healthy meals instead of eating out.

I found "Counting it Joy" to be helpful, scriptural, and uplifting. It was great to learn that this very different book is from the same author.
