My husband and I would LOVE an opportunitu to see this! I think it would be edifying to him as he has dealt with several job losses this year, has just started a new job (praise God!), is a full-time student and we are also dealing with some trying parenting issues with two toddlers...non-stop correction and teaching can get tiring! We have not been on a date for two years now due to lack of a babysitter or lack of money, so we would TRULY be blesssed by this. Thank you for the opportunity, Alexis Vega

I would be so humbled to be blessed with tickets to see this movie and have a night out with my hubby.....we have 2 medically fragile children and seem to never "break even" enough to go see a movie. Please understand that I am NOT complaining about the blessing of our children Thanks Tisa

I bought The Resolution for Women book about a month ago. It's pretty good so far. I am trying to plan a time for my husband and I to go see this movie. I have been looking forward to it since they started on it. Love their movies!

Thank you for the review! Would you let your children see this film (a 6 year old), or is it really only for possibly teens and adults? Please don't enter me to win...please bless someone else! :o)

We are hoping to go see it soon, we have 5 boys, they ALL 5 need to see it!
Can't wait!!!
(Thanks for the opportunity)

Hi Shannon,

We went with all of our 8 children and their uncle--my twins are five and while there was some violence (gang initiation-a quick scene and victim is concealed, police scuffle and shooting) you could just cover their eyes if you feel it might be too much for them. Mine did just fine. :)

Many blessings...

My husband & I want to see this. I have heard it is wonderful! My teenage dd got to see it the other night at a preshowing for a church. She said it was one of the best movies she has seen. She also said it was not for younger kids.

I would love to be able to surprise my husband with tickets to see this movie! We haven't had a date in such a long time. Blessings to you!

I am going to see this movie as soon as I can but from the trailer it looks like it is for the husband. I am very discouraged as I'm sure my husband won't go to see it.
I could be wrong. He did go see Fireproof with me and while he showed an interest in it at the time~it didn't last. I'm pretty sure this movie will have the same result. I hope I'm wrong!!!!! I'm praying for a miracle in my marriage~it's a daily struggle (wishing I could be with someone else but know it's wrong). Thanks for your encouragements!

My husband & I as well as my 16 year old daughter were blessed to see a pre-screening last week. This movie is phenomenal. As my husband says it opens a fathers eyes & heart. It was challenging to myself as well. The movie showed me how much our husbands NEED our support. I highly recommend seeing this movie!

I am so excited about this movie! My husband and I have been waiting anxiously for it to finally be released... we are the parents of an almost 3 year old boy and 4month old twin boys, so getting out for a date is often difficult. We were out tonight and actually went to look at the movie times for Courageous and unfortunately it was playing too late for us to be out. We would LOVE to win these tickets and have a reason to go on another date together! *grin* I love your blog, its so encouraging :) God bless!

NOT entering to win the tickets, please bless someone else, but I wanted to confirm what you said. My husband and I went tonight with another couple and we all enjoyed it greatly and just felt enriched and blessed by having seen it.

And definitely don't forget the tissues---there were times I cried because of the drama and other times I cried because I was laughing so hard. Even my husband who rarely lets a tear escape cried a bit during the movie.

I pray that you all get to watch it at some point and that it encourages you to be be courageous for the Lord and your families.

It would be a blessing to go and see this. I've been trying to plan a date night for my husband and I, but as others have mentioned, it is tough spending money on going out and a babysitter. Other things always come up. From the time I heard of it, I've wanted to go and see it!

I'm not commenting to enter for the free tickets- my family and I saw the movie last night. I just wanted to reiterate how AMAZING the movie was!!!! You laugh, you cry, you are riveted with suspense, you cry some more, you laugh some more, your gut is wrenched, your heart is wrenched, you relate, you are horrified, you laugh, you cry...!!! GREAT message!!!

I really want to see it. I plan on taking my dad to see it for his birthday. Free tickets would be great!

My husband and I were just talking about how we'd like to go see this movie. I'd also love for my ex-husband to see it, and he and his wife are in dire straits right now, spiritually and financially. If I won the tickets, I might give them to him.

I'm planning to go with my family today, but would love to win free tickets for my friend and her husband. I know they really want to go but things are very tight for them right now.

We would love to see this movie and very much like supporting these types of movies at the theatres, but sometimes cost is definitely a factor. Thank you for the chance to win tickets.

Hello!

My husband and I would LOVE to go see this movie! It is our 5th anniversary, and we have 4 children from 4 years down to 4 months. Our oldest has special needs. We have been on a TIGHT budget (for the first time in our lives and with which we have met with our elders to figure out financial planning a little better) since last year when our fridge went out. It seems like just when we might get ahead, another new expense pops up. But, Praise the Lord, we have been making our "save" goals. Anyhow, it would be wonderful to go out ALONE with my hubbie :-)

It might be too late for this chance to win, but I need to try. My hubby and I are desperately in need of a night out. We are downsizing/moving this month and my heart hurts for this wonderful man of mine as he is doing the best he can to support 6 kids that he adores. It's hard to connect with our older ones during this time of stress and having three 3yr olds under tow. Thanks for sharing the trailer. I had not seen this one yet! bkmomang(at)aol(dot)com

I just heard about this movie. I think it would be a wonderful movie for helping my husband and I get back "on track" with our relationship, as well as dealing with our children. (We have eight living children, from 17 years of age to 3 years of age.) We are pretty strapped with money (it is expensive to care for our family, but we're so very blessed by each child!), but would love to see the movie.

Don't forget all the belly laughing. My new favorite movie. All of my children went with us and absolutely loved it(7mths-15yrs).

Please support this movie so that Hollywood can see we really do want good clean movies.

I would love to go see this movie with my husband without waiting for it to come out on DVD. Having free tickets would allow us to pay for a babysitter and enjoy each others company for a night out.

I would love to see this movie. We have to drive an hour just to get to the theater. We had planned on seeing it for our wedding anniversary, but we had some unexpected medical expenses. So we are now thinking we may have to wait until it comes out on dvd. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win!

I haven't seen the movie but the man who took the car at the gas station goes to our church. They showed the trailer a few weeks ago and he spoke a little about the role. how he got it and how his upbringing prepared him for the role. Truly inspiring. I will try to post the link to that conversation with the head mimister at Southeast Christian Church on my blog soon.
