What a wonderful resource for families. What a time saver, having all this info coming from one place. We learned from various ministries, and Christian friends, I can see this being so helpful to so many!
In the description of one section, they use the term "jive talking". Since that is a 70's term here is the meaning from Wikipedia: "African American Vernacular English also called African American English; less precisely Black English, Black Vernacular. Non-linguists sometimes call it Ebonics (a term that also has other meanings or strong connotations) or jive or jive-talk."
This term can be jolting for some, however, I think their intentions are good. With the hip-hop/urban culture crossing color/ethnic lines, all children are now speaking "jive".
I agree, being a great communicator is important. Yes kids, please learn to articulate your ideas and thoughts without the MTV vocabulary... two thumbs up!!
Hello June, Just wanted to make sure you knew of the coupon from Vision Forum for 25.00 off anything 75.00 or more. I believe this is good til Feb. 28. So the new series will only be 60.00 with the coupon. Woo Hoo!! I was going to order it earlier this morning, but I hesitated. Now I'm glad I waited. Hope you have a wonderful day, Teresa

I just have to add that Teach Them to Your Children is my favorite devotional for small children! We have had it for several years and love it!
