Quiet and Still

I'd like to ask a question...

Is your heart quiet and still before the Lord today?

  1. I actually long for the time to be still and quiet, so that I can fellowship with the Lord. I'm in the process fo rising up extra early, just to have that alone time with God.

  3. This subject was on my heart this morning when I woke up. I work from home and last week was so busy I was stressed to the max, very short on the phone with people and breezed right over my time with God so I could "get more accomplished." Oh goodness, I know how that sounds! This morning I vowed to myself to take it slow, lean not on my own understanding but on His Word and already the day is off to a better start. I have my Bible at my right hand and have just uttered a prayer for a quiet spirit.
    Lots of hugs and blessings,
    Caroline

  4. I have to admit, at first it wasn't until coming here. Had read an upsetting comment, then reminded myself that it doesn't matter what others say. I only have to answer to our Father! :) Let it flow off like water on a ducks feathers.
Beautiful calming picture. Love His timing. Thank you and God Bless!

  5. I love the times when it is quiet and I can be with the Lord in prayer and Bible study. I'm striving to be all he ask of me. Love your blog and all the posts. Thanks and God Bless

  6. Not today it wasn't :( But it normally is every day. Today just happened to be one of those fast pace, errand running, sweltering heat, running in 5 directions at once type of day.
Thankfully since it's now evening my mind is unwinding and now focusing on what's important (Him).

Looking forward to tomorrow to begin anew and fresh. :)

Thank you for the gentile reminder. May your week be blessed abundantly!

  8. Oh my,
I don't think anyone's ever asked me that before. I think I need to do that right now.

  9. Sigh! Your question reminds me of how I really need to focus on God, even during the crazy times (and right now, my life is kind of "crazy" and in transitional mode). I pray that I can remember this question tomorrow, and start with a clean slate.
